‘Some emotions refuse to become language.’

This piece was created on a repurposed canvas originally found in a thrift store, a generic manufactured artwork carrying none of my own connection or feeling within it. Reworking the surface became an important part of the process itself, transforming something impersonal into something deeply visceral and emotionally direct.

Created using acrylic, charcoal, and oil pastel, the painting emerged rapidly and instinctively. There was very little conscious control involved. The marks, drips, textures, and layers became immediate responses to emotion and internal intensity rather than attempts to construct a polished image or narrative.

I have always viewed these works less as decorative objects and more as mirrors. They hold traces of emotional truth from the exact moment they were created, preserving energy and psychological atmosphere in a direct and unfiltered way. In that sense, this piece feels less like an image and more like a record of a state of being.
