I wanted to capture that moment when someone’s gaze holds both distance and depth — when you see their thoughts flicker just behind the eyes, yet remain unreachable. The glasses became more than a detail; they turned into a veil, a boundary between observer and observed.

The charcoal moved instinctively, layering and softening until the face felt both intimate and guarded. I wasn’t chasing likeness so much as truth — the quiet assertion of identity that exists even when concealed behind reflection.

Printed as a high-quality giclée reproduction on superior Tintoretto Gesso art paper.

Prints are supplied mounted with backing board and protected in a clear sleeve. They are shipped flat in a rigid board-backed mailer.

Available in A4 and A3 sizes.

All UK print orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48. International orders are shipped using tracked services where available.
